“My two friends and I stayed 2 nights in Aug 2022 and absolutely had a blast! Susan immediately made us feel at home upon our arrival with a comprehensive tour of the lodge and amazing hospitality throughout our stay. Sally and Mark were awesome musicians and cooks and Todd entertained us with cowboy poetry while we sat around the campfire.
I can’t say enough about how great our stay was. We drove in from Boise and our 2 day stay made our drive time over narrow, windy, bumpy roads worth every minute! Thank you Sue, Sally, Mark and Todd! Hope to see you next year:)”

It’s been a number of years since we hiked down the Big Creek Trail, so it was great to be able to do that again. Thanks to everyone who made our anniversary special.”

“Stayed the night before heading out on a 7 day backpacking trip. Great evening of music, a wonderful breakfast and a comfy room.
We usually treat ourselves to a fancy dinner out after a long trip, but when we got flown back to Big Creek, sitting on the porch watching the hummingbirds and having bacon, eggs, and potatoes for breakfast at the Big Creek Lodge won out over any other choice!”

“Big Creek Lodge is the best its ever been! Have stayed many times in the past, and its always good, but my most recent stay this week was something else. The food was outstanding (rhubarb custard bars might as well bean illicit drug!) the grounds and lodge clean and beautiful. The best part though, was the service. Simply amazing and above and beyond. The entire crew attentive and professional and friendly. Special shout out to Ktrina who seems to be leading the charge and is just a phenomenal host!
Whether you have been before or not, put this unique treasure on your short list. As always, be properly prepared to fly into this backcountry strip.

“We had a great time! The staff was ‘over the top’ and the food was excellent (glad you had some steaks, two of us aren’t seafood fans). Somehow seafood in the backcountry, well, it’s beef country for most. The rooms were top notch, super clean and the beds very comfortable.

“My wife and I had a fabulous stay at Big Creek Lodge. It was our favorite fly in lodge during our week in the Salmon Mountains. The food was gourmet, the hospitality and accommodations were 5 star, and you made us feel like part of the family. We especially loved the impromptu live musical entertainment courtesy of the Big Creek Band. (Kind of a takeoff off Little River Band, but the best I could do.) We look forward to seeing you all again soon.”

“Annie and Bernard welcomed and spoiled us during our stay. According to Bernard, we came for the first warm day of the year, June 18th! Even so, on the day we flew out we had to wait for the frost to melt off the wings before taking off! While at Big Creek Lodge we enjoyed the beautiful scenery, watching the wildlife, hiking, biking (bikes provided), and even catching up with friends that flew in for Annie’s delicious breakfast. We would recommend a minimum 2 nights’ stay, giving you one full day to explore or just sit on the porch and relax, or both!”
